Hatha yoga

Gently paced to align and calm mind, body and spirit. This traditional class encourages alignment of the body together with breathing and mediation techniques to help you develop strength, mindfulness and flexibility over time. There is extra care, with occasional hands on assists, helping you to find a little more ease and comfort in your practice. Leave class feeling lengthened, balanced and relaxed. Vinyasa Yoga

Dynamic breath guided movement at a fluid pace to increase body heat and build strength. Classes will include vigorous sun salutations, standing poses, preparation for arm balances and backbends, with a focus on gaze points. Excellent for those that find sweating and movement helps create a state of physical exertion and mental concentration leading to deep relaxation and steadiness after class. Ashtanga yoga

A rigorous and disciplined modified sequence in the Primary Series will challenge and strengthen. This is an intermediate class with an athletic flow combining strength, flexibility and stamina for a complete practice. Ashtanga cleanses both the body and the mind, it will build your power from the core, out into your muscles and limbs. Ashtanga is a powerful tool for self-transformation, by the end of this class you will feel a sense of achievement, fulfillment and inner peace. Book an Ashtanga yoga class now.

Power yoga

An empowering fitness based practice with its roots in Vinyasa and Ashtanga. This is a quick moving class with an emphasis on building strength and endurance. This is the class for those wanting a challenge. You will walk out of class with the strength and clarity to take on the physical demands of life. Book a Power yoga class now.

Restorative yoga

Relax and rejuvenate through supported postures. This class reminds you to slow down. You will learn to invite restoration both physically and mentally, to open the door to a more healthy and balanced lifestyle. Shed away tensions and stresses by learning how to quiet the mind of mental chatter to give your body and mind TLC to find a state of true rest. Perfect class to heal your body and mind. The use of bolsters, blocks and blankets create a deeply relaxing and comfortable space.

Hot Yoga

Burn calories, build strength, increase stamina, improve circulation and fire up your metabolism in this Far-Infrared Radiant heated class. Discover how quickly your body will become more flexible, relaxed and be able to move more freely! Bring a spare towel and come prepared to sweat! It is important to be well hydrated before you attend and ensure you have a full water bottle handy during class. For optimal results we recommend that you do not eat a heavy meal 1-2 hours beforehand. Hot yoga classes at our Brisbane yoga studio are in the styles of Vinyasa, Power and Hatha.

If you have not tried a HOT yoga class before we recommend you first try the WARM Hatha or WARM Yin/Pilates classes that provide a good introduction to a heated class.

Yin yoga

A restorative and meditative class that deepens mental and physical strength whilst nurturing the body. Moving slowly, poses are held longer, encouraging you to focus within the body, engaging with and noticing different sensations that arise. Focus is at the core of your body, specifically the hips, pelvis and lower spine.

Yin suits all levels and compliments your regular active yoga class. Also suitable for those recovering from physical injury or those who require mental detoxification due to stress and anxiety.

Reset & Restore yoga

Focusing on restoring functionality and mobility.  Move gently and mindfully to lengthen and reset the body then relax and restore your body balance through supported restorative postures and meditation.

Vin / Yin yoga

A balance of active and held postures. Enjoy flowing with intensity in Vinyasa then come back to the floor to give those muscles a well earned stretch to open and release during Yin.

Roll & Reset yoga

Find and address those aching muscle points. These are areas that are most often overused, underused, misused, or even abused and can be the catalyst for pain and injury. Stretch and explore the multitude of ways to use self-massage techniques and corrective exercises with tune-up balls™ to reset your body back into complete physiological balance and feel the best you’ve ever felt!

Golden Yoga

A gentle yoga class for seniors or those with limited mobility. There is focus on breathing, stretching, balance and relaxation with movements designed to help keep you mobile, prevent falls and improve sleep. The movements are modified to be performed seated in a chair rather than on the floor. Golden yoga may improve the range of motion of joints, the density of bone and muscle tissue and improve cardiovascular fitness without the strain of more intense exercise regimes. A lovely opportunity for you to get active, make new friends and enjoy a break from your daily routine. Classes end with a complimentary morning tea on our balcony.

Teen Ashtanga yoga

A stimulating, creative, and playful class with a foundation in the Ashtanga primary series. Postures will be challenging and achievable to help teenagers overcome fears, strengthen focus and build self-confidence and balance both on and off the mat. Teens will have the opportunity to engage in healthy ways to experiment, take risks, and explore their bodies. Yogic teachings that promote gratitude, compassion, acceptance, intuition, and presence are incorporated. Savasana, guided breathing, and meditation practices at the end of each class will help teens relax, unwind and find peace within.

Kids yoga

Fun and imaginative, encouraging children to move and pause mindfully with joy. Filled with fun and games, adventures, stories and creativity for curious minds and active bodies. Each class closes with a peaceful guided savasana helping children learn the skills to relax and be still. They will come home happy, calm and peaceful. Mums & Bubs yoga

Enjoy a peaceful practice with your baby. Designed for postnatal mothers, the focus is on calming the mind, releasing tension and toning the body. Through gentle movements, breath work, stretching and strengthening, you will begin to feel stronger, more confident with an improved connection between body and mind. You and baby will benefit from bonding time together whilst connecting with other mums and babies in our community. This class is a supportive environment for mothers transitioning back into a gentler practice with babies who are not yet crawling.

Prenatal yoga

Class is designed to help expectant mothers release built up tension, in both body and mind. You will learn breathing techniques to help reduce pregnancy related anxiety, helping you to focus throughout delivery and bring a sense of calm into your life. Gentle movements help you find ease in your own body whilst gently massaging your baby within; creating an inner memory of calmness and relaxation that they will carry with them indefinitely. When you take the time to fully relax, the oxygen supply to your baby increases and prenatal yoga has been proven to increase the production of endorphins which have pain relieving effects.

* Please note you should always seek clearance from your doctor before starting something new. If you do not have a current regular yoga practice, it is best to wait until your 2nd trimester before starting classes.

Spend quality time with the family to move joyfully and pause peacefully together.  Get ready to laugh as we play games, go on adventures and challenge each other safely.  Children, parents and grandparents can enjoy this yoga class together and strengthen connections whilst supporting each other and having fun!  This is a great opportunity for children and parents to learn from each other and bridge the gap.  Suitable for accompanying children age 5-13 years.
