yoga for Kids,Tweens & Teens
Children from toddlers to teens are so much busier today than they have ever been. In a world full of distractions and over stimulation, kids yoga supports young people to focus, find calmness, self-acceptance and self-awareness in a non-competitive atmosphere.
Kids yoga classes encourage healthy active habits for children and teens whilst reminding them that it is just as important to relax and pause. Helping children recognise the balance of mind, body and spirit equips them with the tools to develop into kind, responsible and confident adults.
Introducing yoga to a child, tween or teen in their formative years, when their minds are receptive to learning will help your child both on and off the mat. We recognise that children have different needs and offer a range of kids yoga classes at our Brisbane studio. These include yoga classes for 5-8 year old for early primary, 9-11 year old for late primary tweens and Teenagers from 12 years old.
Our kids yoga classes will run as a school term and workshops are offered during school holidays.
Teens from 12 years of age may also attend our regular timetable classes when accompanied by a supervising adult. With the exception of heated classes where youth must be 16 years and over to participate.
Our fun and creative holiday workshops are updated here 2 weeks before each school holidays.
We offer a 2.5 hour morning workshop for Kids Yoga age 5-11yo.
